May 2024 Board Snapshot and Special Board Meeting!

Please see the attached board summary of our last board meeting- and note we are having a Special Board Meeting this Thursday at 5pm, as the board is looking to accommodate our busy MAY schedule and move our first meeting in June to Monday, June 3.

California Healthy Kids Survey

Cayucos Elementary 6th and 7th grade students will take part in the California Healthy Kids Survey sponsored by the California Department of Education during the week of May 13, 2024. This is an important survey that will help us promote better health and well-being among our students, improve the learning environment and address problems such as drug abuse and violence. Below please find sample surveys to view. The Elementary School Survey is for 6th Grade and the Middle School Survey is for the 7th Grade.

Cayucos Elementary School District Continues Their Traditional Peace Day Celebration

Cayucos, California: Cayucos School, nestled in the heart of San Luis Obispo County, continues their decades long tradition of celebrating Peace Day. Peace Day, for Cayucos School, is typically aligned with Earth Day (Earth Day is celebrated every year on April 22nd to raise awareness and support for environmental protection) and is a school-wide assembly/celebration of friendship, kindness, and environmental awareness.
